In my artistic process, I work with chemicals on light-sensitive paper, which I partially apply to the surface to control the physicochemical colors that emerge over time. In this installation, I used very long strips of paper and manually wove them together by layering the papers in the middle, leaving the ends hanging down the railing in the room and, on the other side, climbing up the wall to their conclusion. I use this material because I see a clear connection to reality within the photographic image, achieved through the physicochemical process that shapes its appearance. By assembling the strips into a more sculptural installation, I aimed to introduce another layer of medium, giving the work a direction of a figurative expression. The papers themselves reveal a broken weave, reflecting fragility but also irreparable damages. - 2025
